Dave's work is reflective and more often than not a self-portrait or a first person view of what he sees around him. Often dark and bearing more than a passing resemblance to documentary photography his work is emotive and full of turmoil. The viewer is left to wonder if they have learnt more about the photographer himself than than they have the subject of the image.
