Youthcomm Media Group
Youthcomm Media group is a new addition to the volunteering opportunities already established within Youthcomm. Youthcomm Media is an opportunity to; gain experience, develop skills and build up a portfolio of work that may support your entrance into a highly competitive industry. Ultimately the group will:
- Work with the information and design worker to design Youthcomm promotional materials.
- Work in partnership with other organisations to produce promotional resources such as posters and leaflets.
- Report on local and national events using; film, photography, interviews to produce features, articles and footage to be used in a variety of publications and forums.
- Build confidence as a team to manage their own work load and meet deadlines.
- Have a fun, creative and meaningful experience.
To support you to do all this Youthcomm has put together an informal training course that aims to provide basic skills in the key areas identified as follows; Photography, film, design, press releases and articles, and newsletters.
